What this is

I keep notes on what I'm building, what broke, and what I'd do differently. Mostly useful to me. You can read over my shoulder.

About

Self-taught. Background in advertising, then six years in product teams. Based in Bucharest. I got good at the React thing and then got bored of being good at the React thing, which is when the interesting problems started. Now I build tools (or at least try to), read specs and document the confusion honestly.

What I do

Build web interfaces. Lately more interested in what the browser can do natively than what frameworks paper over. The distance between "technically works" and "makes someone feel something" is smaller than people assume, but you just have to care about both ends.

How I think

Find something that shouldn't work and try it until it does. Read the spec, not just the tutorial. When something feels like magic, figure out what's underneath. Usually it's just something nobody bothered to check.

What I reject

Generic advice. Frameworks that exist to justify their own complexity. Thought leadership with nothing to actually think about. Appearing certain as a career strategy.

What this version is

v0.1. A working title. The beta is real, not ironic. This site will change as I do. That's the point.
